Orienteering video from Wyoming
Mary and I just got back from a long weekend of orienteering practice in Wyoming. I shot a bit of video of the terrain.
I put the video together as an experiment - trying to see what I could do with just a few minutes of work. I shot all of the video on an Iphone in about 5 minutes. I edited the clips in another 5-10 minutes. It was not a lot of work.
The segment where I ran behind Mary while holding the Iphone in front of me uses Dollycam to stabilize the video. I think it worked well. You can judge for youself by looking at the raw video as shot and then after being stabalized.
Here is another video. This one took less time to shoot but more time to edit (mainly spending time trying to get the map clips to look ok). Total time was about 20 minutes.
