Not strictly ISSOM
I've never noticed this way of mapping sports fields before. Notice how the mapper used "contour lines" to show the tennis courts and soccer fields. I don't think that's strictly ISSOM, but it is an interesting way of showing the detail.
it took me some time to understand that actually I'm the mapper of this map :-)
yes 'cause the lines for tennis courts etc. look brown, but in the original ocad file (I just checked it) they are black 0,06 mm
maybe printing, or scanning brought this strange 'brown' feeling (or Alessio made some changes?)
of course tennis courts or football(FA:-) pitches are not mentioned by ISSOM, but I really think they improve the map and I always depict them with black lines, thinner than usual 'edge of paved area' ISSOM
recently I've also seen them as white lines, a bit thicker
Thanks for the comment. It is great to hear from the mapper.

I haven't run with a map with the lines, but it doesn't seem like it would make the map hard to read. I like the idea of providing a bit more information. I think I will try the same approach on the sprint map I'm working on right now and see how it works.
