Long O' Champs MapsMaps from the Long O' Champs below. This is my map (M40, also M20, F21, M35). The race was at a high altitude - 9000+ feet (2750+ meters). Running at that altitude feels a bit like having an asthma attack.
I didn't finish the course.

Yeah I used to have a huge advantage at the Colorado 5-days when I was younger by living in Colorado Springs. I think I would suffer now. Looks like a really fun and interesting course. Maybe a bit too long if people weren't finishing? Wish I could have been there.
The dashed lines are new trails that are marked with tapes. The map is old -- 1991, I think -- so there have been some changes.
The dashes are temporary, flagged "trails" put in place for the Yellow course. There was some map updating done this year, by Christoph Zurcher.Post a Comment
