Reminds me of something
The maps from Ukraine that Oystein Kvaal Osterbo posted remind me of something. But, I can't think of what. I've never run in Ukraine. But, there is something about these maps that looks vaguely familiar. Maybe I'm just cracking up.
To my eye, some of the map above looks a bit like some areas in Ohio. I'm thinking of the contours, in particular.
The map below is really unusual looking. Those earth banks dominate your first look at the map. Those earth banks must be fairly large. You can see a number of passages that go under them (take a look at the route from 9 to 10, for example). The symbol is a bit hard for me to make sense of at a quick glance. It probably wouldn't be hard with a bit of practice, but when you're not familiar with this stuff, it is tricky.
