Captured on film
I was going to write something about the French world cup race...or maybe some ideas for orienteering at the North American champs...or maybe something about the O' game "Omanager."
My plans changed when I came across the white squirrel while I was running this evening. I've spotted the white squirrel several times. But, I'd never before managed to get a snapshot. So, I was psyched to get a couple of snapshots even if the quality isn't so good.
The quality of the photos isn't great. The light in the forest was not very good. The squirrel was moving away from me. I used the digital zoom. That was probably a mistake. I had to work quickly before the squirrel ran away.

Clearly a squirrel in the top photo, in the left half of the frame, facing away, tail hanging down. Looks completely ghostly. Maybe this is a ghost squirrel. It also has an effect as if you'd put it through one of those software filters to make it look like a watercolor painting or something.
That's what I meant--it is clearly the infamous "OK Ghost Squirrel." No one thought this apparition could be photographed. In fact, no one has ever seen this beast and lived to tell. Muahahhah.
