Long control picking
A Norwegian club set a "world record" control picking course -- 120 controls. Check out the map.
The news inspired JJ to design a 100+ control course at Pawtuckaway. From the discussion at Attackpoint, it sounds like a U.S. record attempt might actually happen. That'd be great.
I've vowed to never again run at Pawtuckaway (or even New Hampshire). But, JJ's event might get me to change my mind.
A 120 control course would be fun, but challenging. I'm probably one of the few people who've experimented with long control picking courses. As an experiment I ran a 62 control course about a year ago. You can read what I wrote at the time. I've never, yet, run a course with more controls but I've done several 35+ control courses for training.
