If you're not familiar with Knob Noster, you'll see that it is quite nice terrain. The area is the best local area for orienteering by far. The only real drawback is that it takes an hour or so to drive to the map. As a result, the local club doesn't use the area very often.
As you can also tell, the map was printed on some sort of ink jet printer. It isn't too bad. But, I found the contours difficult to read. It might have been easier if it hadn't been raining. It would have been easier if the map had been offset printed (not that I'm criticizing the organizers).
