Pavement-only orienteering

For tonight's training the rule was that you had to run on pavement only. It made the route choices interesting. It was fun, though my legs feel a bit sore.

Reading aboot that alone makes me legs sore, and I am not even Canadian.

10 to 11 looks like a trap leg. It looks like you can't connect to the north of the line, and the printing of "10" over that area makes it look confusing. Very tricky.

  3. 10-11. It turns out the map was a bit off and you could make the pavement-only connection north of 10. Some people had checked that out on the route from 4-5.

I saw the gap and decided to take the north or the south route depending on what I saw Gene do (I saw him a 150 meters or so ahead of me). Gene went north, so I decided to go south, even though it looked like a longer route (and it was). In a race I'd have probably gone north.
